District Laboratories
According to the section 15 of the Measurement, Units Standards & Services Act no. 35 of 1995, tertiary standards shall be kept and preserved by the District Secretary. Laboratories were set up in each district to preserve the standards under the direct supervision of the District Secretary Inspectors share these standards for annual re verification of trader's weighing and measuring equipment.
