SI System
The International System of Units (SI) and the definitions of those units as specified by the General Conference of Weights and Measures and as set out in the First Schedule of Measurement Units Standards and Services Act,No. 35 of 1995. This shall constitute the units of measurement for all purpose in Sri Lanka.
SI units are divided into two classes
