Measurement Units Standards And Services Department realizes and maintains the international temperature scales of 1990 using fixed points that cover a temperature range of -40 ºC to 660 ºC.

RESISTANCE THERMOMETERS

Calibration of standards platinum resistance thermometers at appropriate fixed points of the ITS-90 in the range from -50ºC to 660ºC. Calibration of industrial platinum resistance thermometer and digital indicators by comparison method.

RADIATION THERMOMETERS

  Calibration of radiation thermometers up to 1200 ºC using black furnace calibration of disappearing filament thermometers from 800 ºC to 2200 ºC using tungsten strip lamps

THERMOCOUPLE THERMOMETERS

Calibration of reference thermocouples & Thermocouple wires.

Calibration of surface probe calibrator & Calibration of ice point reference

LIQUID IN GLASS THERMOMETERS

  Calibration of liquid in glass thermometers with scale division of 0.01 ºC or smaller in the temperature range from -50 ºC to 400 ºC.
